Back To: Candlestick Phones The dial candlestick telephone is a reproduction of the 1921-1941 Western Electric. The extent of its production, 2 others styles of desk telephones were also made, one beginning in late 1927 and the other in 1937. Whether production of the candlestick phone would have continued past the war years had the World War not come along, was unlikely.

Itís attractions lost ground due to the convenience of one-piece handsets. W.E. made these from brass with black finish. Very few were polished [for dignitaries].
