These beautiful phones are updated to be compatible with todays phone line. The beautifully crafted cabinets have been carefully restored and refinished. The original workmanship is of such high quality that even after a century or more very little is needed to be done to repair the wood itself. You will appreciate the beautiful finger joints that are used to join the box panel together. The lower box originally held the batteries for the phones operation. Today phones are powered by the central office and batteries are no longer required. We have used the space that once held the battery to now house the modern componets that your phone will need to operate on today's phone lines. These phones were build from nearly every hardwood available. We will match the wood componets as weel as possible. If you want one that is entirely oak or walnut see below.

If you have basic wood finishing and electrical skill an you would like a very rewarding project and save yourself a lot of money then the kit form of this phone could be for you. We will furnish all the wood parts to complete the phone. Most or all will be old and will require refinishing. Most of the plastic, bakelite and metal parts will be reproduction.
